Under The Shadow of His Wing
 February 2003
Due to a computer glitch, we lost our group email settings.  If you have previously written to us to be added to our email list, would you be so kind as to resubmit your request?  Thank you!
Beginnings.  Beginnings can be a bit frightening, but as long as the Lord is by our side we should look on them with great expectation and joy.  Because of the great depth of God's love for us, any beginning He has for us, for our family, our country or our world should bring with it His abundent peace -- that peace which surpasses all human understanding.  In these uncertain times, as our world stands on the brink of what it considers the unknown, keep your eyes firmly fixed on the only One who can guarantee you a certain future -- Yeshua, the Messiah.

These are exciting times in which we live.  Never before has the world been in the position to see the fulfillment of prophecy as I believe it is today.  Continue to search the Scriptures daily.  Ask the Lord for guidance.  Seek out knowledgable teachers of the Word.  Make the Lord and His ways your first priority and He will bless you like never before.  He is our strongtower and He will protect those who call upon His Name, even when our human understanding fails us.

Also, as you celebrate Valentine's Day, let's remember the high price that God's great love for us cost Him.  Let's not only tell Him how much we love Him, but let's remember to share His love through the Messiah with everyone we meet.  God knows the world needs it!
For God so greatly loved and dearly prized the world that He [even] gave up His only begotten (unique) Son, so that whoever believes in (trusts in, clings to, relies on) Him shall not perish (come to destruction, be lost) but have eternal (everlasting) life.
-- John 3:16

And once again, thanks to all of you who have taken the time to let us know that the Lord has touched you through our ministry.  Your words are a blessing!

"Now the brethren at once sent Paul and Silas away by night to Beroea; and when they arrived, they entered the synagogue of the Jews. Now these [Jews] were better disposed and more noble than those in Thessalonica, for the were entirely ready and accepted and welcomed the message [concerning the attainment through Christ of eternal salvation in the kingdom of God] with inclination of mind and eagerness, searching and examining the Scriptures daily to see if these things were so." -- Acts 17:10-11

It is our continued hope that the articles here will inspire you to be as the believers in Beroea - search and examine the Scriptures daily to see if these things are so!  We want to be the salt that makes you thirst for living waters!
